Paper Mill Sessions is a collaboration between friends Sarah Robinson (Paper Mill Studios) and Kate Sessions (Sessions and Co.). When they met they realised how much they had in common; a love of independent brands, interiors, fashion, food and all things in between. Although coming from slightly different worlds (Sarah worked as Jamie Oliver’s Head of Creative and Design for many years, and Kate worked in the contemporary art world), they realised their compatible businesses could be woven together so that they could draw upon their networks to create a vibrant and incredible community of makers and small businesses.  It was always essential that these events would champion makers, create an inspiring community and in so doing raise money for charity. So Paper Mill Sessions was created…

Thank you so much for joining us.

About Kate

Kate set up Sessions & Co.  – an interiors and lifestyle business – after a 12 year career working in contemporary art in Scotland and London. With a passion for interiors, S&Co. brings together her knowledge and experience of art and design with the domestic. Collaboration, high quality design, sustainable manufacture and family life are integral to both the products and the business ethos. She lives in East London with her husband Tom and their two small boys.

About Sarah

Sarah founded Paper Mill Studios with her husband Sam in 2015, after dreaming about it, talking about it and drawing it on scraps of paper and beer mats for years before. It had always been their dream to create a space that would house their businesses, help build creative communities and be a venue for exciting opportunities and ideas all at the same time. A place to always inspire them, their family and hopefully others too.

About Help Refugees

Help Refugees provides aid and advocates for refugees. They support over 100 projects worldwide and have helped almost 1 million people with funding, food, shelter and volunteers. They go where the need is greatest, filling the gaps and acting where others won’t. Sometimes that means search & rescue boats; sometimes it means providing food or safe, secure long-term housing. Filling gaps left by governments and large NGOs, they respond to the genuine needs of refugees and displaced populations in a fast, flexible and empowering way. #Chooselove.
